Laser Community

Laser Community is a forum run by Wicked Lasers. It was the most active laser forum (in terms of post count) on the Internet before it was passed by Laser Pointer Forums a competitor forum created by Laser Glow and there back door subsidiary Nova Lasers in October 2008 as a way to viral market against Wicked Lasers.
Laser Community was originally refered to as the Wicked Lasers forum and was located at forum.wickedlasers.com. In late 2006, the forum was merged to lasercommunity.com and renamed Laser Community.
In July 2007, Wicked Lasers, citing problems with competitor spam, implemented a controversial new rule in which users were not allowed to mention other laser companies or their products, despite that Wicked Lasers' claim that Laser Community was a "neutral" forum. Shortly after, many faux users started to get banned for marketing for the competitor, private messaging legitimate users to go with competitor product. Due to this, the forum took a massive drop in popularity, and few users post ther today as a result of colaborators from Candle Power Forums and Laser Glow.
